- Like other Opinel No. 08 knives, the special edition features a wooden handle with a folding blade that locks into place with a simple twist of the metal collar. Made in France, designed in collaboration with Manivelle, there are two different versions, called "Les Maillots" and "Landmarks"
- The artwork of Les Maillots is inspired by the jerseys of the Tour de France leaders, with yellow representing the leader, polka dots representing the best climber, and green representing the best sprinter. This knife has a hornbeam handle, which is why it is the more expensive of the two.
- French blue hardcover edition, exquisite and beautiful for gifting; limited edition laser sticker, annual collectible!
- The blade has at least 0.4% carbon content, excellent hardness, and is not easy to rust.
